Kyoorius Designyatra returned to Goa in 2011, with the theme – “Next: What to expect in the field of digital, design, branding and visual communications?”

Kyoorius Designyatra has served as a valuable meeting point for agencies in India and abroad in the sphere of design, branding and visual communications. The conference has served as an opportunity to understand and learn from some of the finest minds in the design and branding field, delve into their creative process and be inspired by their work. Kyoorius Designyatra has attracted a cumulative audience of more than 8500 delegates over the last five years and we expect to host a delegate strength of 1400 for the 2011 edition.

Meet the Speakers 

  1. Johnny Vulkan – Founding Partner, Anomaly
    Johnny has held diverse positions in the UK and US, including Chief Operating Officer at TBWA/Chiat/Day. At Anomaly, he’s in charge of communications, media innovation, and digital strategy, exploring cultural trends globally.

  2. Adrian Shaugnessy – Graphic Designer & Writer, ShaughnessyWorks
    Adrian Shaughnessy, London-based designer, co-founded Intro in 1989, now runs ShaughnessyWorks consultancy, and is a partner at Unit Editions publishing. He’s authored books, writes for design publications, lectures worldwide, and hosts a radio show on Resonance FM.

  3. Donald Beekman – Co-Founder & Host, Type Radio
    Donald Beekman, Amsterdam-based designer, founded DBXL studio after Rietveld Art Academy. He co-initiated Typeradio, an internet radio stream and podcast, and designs logos, music, and visuals mainly for the entertainment industry.

  4. Eva Rucki – Co-Founder, Troika
    London-based Troika, founded by Conny Freyer, Eva Rucki, and Sebastien Noel in 2003, pioneers multidisciplinary projects, spanning graphic and product design, technology, and interactive installations. Their innovative work, including projects for British Airways, BBC, and MTV, has been showcased globally and held in permanent collections, including the MoMA and V&A.

  5. Irma Boom – Graphic Designer, Irma Boom Office
    Irma Boom, having studied graphic design at AKI Art Academy and worked at the Dutch Government Publishing and Printing Office, established Irma Boom Office in 1991. She’s renowned globally for her design expertise, with clients such as Rijksmuseum, Chanel, and Ferrari, and holds distinctions including the prestigious Gutenberg Prize.
  6. Mark Chalmers – Group Partner, Perfect Fools
    Chalmers combines art, technology, and storytelling for experiential brand development. As a partner at Perfect Fools and co-founder of Creative Social, he pioneers creativity and technology, fostering collaboration in the industry and curating acclaimed art exhibitions in his garage.

  7. Novi Rahman – UX Designer, Young Blood
    Novi Rahman, an Indonesian with a passion for travel and photography, holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in design. She’s dedicated her career to Research and Development, currently serving as a User Experience Designer at Wacom Europe in Germany.

  8. Peter Higgins – Owner & Creative Director, Land Design Studio
    Creative Director Peter Higgins helped establish a unique MA course at the University of the Arts London and is a visiting professor there. He also leads Land Design Studio, a London-based consultancy known for immersive storytelling in museums and commercial spaces.

  9. Richard Holman – Founder and Executive Creative Director, Devilfish
    Richard began his career at the BBC and later founded the creative agency Devilfish, known for its strategic thinking and creativity. He then established Humblesticks for furniture and lighting, and co-founded Holman and Hunt for branding.

  10. Sandeep Khosla – Principal Architect & Founder Director, Khosla Associates
    Khosla Associates, a prominent Architecture and Interior Design firm in Bangalore, was founded by Sandeep Khosla who studied architecture in New York before establishing the firm in 1995. He has been recognized by various publications and was listed by Wallpaper magazine as one of India’s 10 most innovative architectural practices.

  11. Tania Singh Khosla – Founder & Design Director, tsk Design
    Tania Singh Khosla, MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University, founded tsk Design in Bangalore. Collaborating with Khosla Associates, her work is acclaimed in global publications and conferences.

  12. Conny Freyer – Co-Founder, Troika
    London’s Troika, founded in 2003 by Conny Freyer, Eva Rucki, and Sebastien Noel, excels in multidisciplinary design, with work showcased globally including MoMA and V&A, and collaborations with major brands.

  13. Liza Enebeis – Co Founder & Host, Type Radio
    Liza, a dedicated designer, holds degrees from Parsons School of Design and Royal College of Art. Co-founder of Typeradio, Creative Director at Studio Dumbar, her passions extend to writing, poetry, and typography, with her podcast channel reaching 2 million annual listeners.
