Dev Valladares

Dev Valladares is a design generalist, experimental artist, and occasional memelord.

He works at the intersection of design & AI at Google Creative Lab. Previously, he was at OpenAI, COLLINS, Buck, Codesign, and Ektype, and has worked with The New York Times, The New Yorker, WIRED, and The Atlantic.

He was recently named an ADC Young Guns 22 winner, appeared on Creativeboom’s Hotlist 25, and served as jury president for ADC’s Artificial Intelligence category in 2025.

Dev’s multidisciplinary practice blends traditional design with motion graphics, 3D, creative code, and AI-generated art. His philosophy emphasises originality and spiritual depth, creating work that resists repetition and defies categorisation. He also makes dank memes.
