Catalina Estrada

Catalina Estrada is a Colombian illustrator and pattern designer based in Barcelona. Known for her vibrant and intricate visual language, Catalina reimagines Latin American folklore through bold color, detailed symmetry, and a deep sense of harmony. Her work has adorned products for global brands such as Paul Smith, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Nike, Levis, Camper, UNICEF, and Amnesty International, as well as city governments in Barcelona, London, and India.

Beyond her commercial collaborations, Catalina is deeply committed to social impact projects, using design as a bridge between cultures and as a tool for visibility, education, and change. Her recent work includes initiatives with Indigenous communities in the Amazon and creative education programs with children across Colombia. Her illustrations inhabit everything from wallpapers and textiles to school supplies and social campaigns—carrying beauty, meaning, and care into people’s everyday lives.
