Richard began his career in branding at the BBC. In 2001 he left to found the creative & design agency Devilfish. The agency was based on the principal of reward â€“ that the most effective communications are those that reward their audience for engaging with them.
Under Richardâ€™s stewardship the agency gained international renown for its clear headed strategic thinking and for its creativity, winning awards at Promax, Cannes, Creative Circle and D&AD, among others.
Having left Devilfish in 2013 to set up the furniture and lighting studio Humblesticks, Richard has just launched a new branding venture, Holman and Hunt, with Lucy Hunt.
