Richard began his career in branding at the BBC. In 2001 he left to found the creative & design agency Devilfish. The agency was based on the principal of reward – that the most effective communications are those that reward their audience for engaging with them. Under Richard’s stewardship the agency gained international renown for its clear headed strategic thinking and for its creativity, winning awards at Promax, Cannes, Creative Circle and D&AD, among others. Having left Devilfish in 2013 to set up the furniture and lighting studio Humblesticks, Richard has just launched a new branding venture, Holman and Hunt, with Lucy Hunt.
