After finishing his studies of Political Sciences with a specialisation in communication, Willem started to work as a consultant and manager for art and design organisations.In 1991 he arrived at BRS Premsela Vonk, Edenspiekermann’s predecessor, to develop their project management. He also initiated the practice of brand strategy and communication strategy for the agency.Willem was managing partner of Eden Design & Communication from 2000 till 2008. Since January 2009 he has assumed the post of chairman of Edenspiekermann.
